Hey. I’m Mark McManus, a trainer based in Ireland. Though I used to work an office job, I decided to follow my dreams and pursue a career in fitness – why not make a living doing what you love? Style is what for you?
Stlye is a way of presenting yourself. I think you are telling people about yourself by how you dress. If you don’t make an effort, it shows. And people will know you don’t care and may even treat you accordingly. I don’t mean to say that you always need to look your best, but I think it’s important to show the world that you take a certain amount of pride in yourself.
Tell me about your diet plan
Diet for this summer has been super-strict. Probably 100-150g carbs a day max. High protein and moderate fat. All clean meals and not a single cheat meal. But I know my body and that’s just what it takes for me to stay shredded all summer. However, here’s a confession, I’m just back from a week in Portugal with my daughter and I had pizza, ice cream, fries, burgers and so on every single day lol. However, I’m back on the strict diet now!
What about your fitness plan?
I’m currently doing 3 full-body hypertrophy-style workouts per week. This works best for me. Hitting every muscle 3 times a week. Then I sometimes go hiking on my days off.
