My name is Kay Jandali (@KayJandali
), I’m 24 years old, and I am a model/blogger here in Miami ,Florida. I absolutely love fashion and style, both of which, are a big part of my every day life. Essentially, I feel that art is a unique and creative art form where anyone can express themselves.
Whats your success story?
My success story is pretty simple: a lot of hard work and a little luck. I started modeling my first year in college when I was recruited by modeling agents. After a couple shoots and a few gigs, I found myself taking it on professionally, eventually doing shoots for big names like Calvin Klein and eventually starting my own fashion blog on Miami Style. Whats your diet plan?
My diet plan varies depending on the seasons. Usually in the summer, I tend to lean up because I’m always out under the sun or at the beach. For this diet, I try to focus on eating lean proteins such as chicken or steak with a carb cycling option. Sugars are completely cut out during this diet and I focus more on eating foods rich in vitamins and nutrients such as fruits and veggies. I usually eat six times a day, scattering my calories within a whole day rather than 3 major meals. In the winter, I tend to bulk up a little bit, adding more carbs into my diet and eating heavier portioned meals, focusing less on being lean, and more on building size.
Whats your fitness plan?
My fitness plan is straightforward: I train 5 days a week. I try to get in exercise at least 5 days a week. Every workout gets 3-4 consistent sets with 8-10 reps each. I try to tackle legs twice a week, where I’ll lift as heavy as possible. These consists of squats, leg press, leg extensions, hamstring pulls, box jumps, and calf raises. For chest, I focus on bench press, incline bench press, decline bench press, and cable flys. Shoulders and arms are hit in one day with bicep curls, hammers, barbell curls, tricep extensions, skull crushers, shoulder frontal raises, and shoulder lateral raises. Day 4 is strictly back, abs, and my favorite cardio: jump rope. On my last workout day for the week, I hit day 5 all over again with legs, just to finish destroying them right before the weekend.
Do you use any supplements?
For supplements, I only take a whey protein supplement. Usually I use Muscle Milk Whey Protein. My favorite flavor is the cookies and creme, you should try it.
Whats your future projects?
I have some future projects coming up on my fashion blog. I plan on adding more content as well introducing a fitness section and begin vlogging. I must say, I am really excited for this summer project! I look forward to hearing everyone’s feedback!
